Flavio Anastacio de Oliveira Camargo is a Brazilian agronomist and soil scientist born on August 3, 1966, in Alegrete, Rio Grande do Sul. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), awarded in 1996, with a focus on the fractionation and dynamics of organic nitrogen in Rio Grande do Sul soils.
