She currently holds the position of Professor in Plant Ecology at the Botany Department, Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Egypt, since February 28, 2021. Dr. Ahmed has a diverse educational background, culminating in her Ph.D. in Plant Ecology from Tanta University in 2010.
