Dr. Utpol Kumar, born on February 2, 1975, is a dedicated soil scientist and Principal Scientific Officer (BCS Agriculture Cadre) at the Soil Resource Development Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture, Bangladesh. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Soil Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), completed in 2022, preceded by a Master of Science in Horticulture and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, both also from BAU.
