Dr. Talal Darwish, a Lebanese soil scientist, born on April 10, 1950, is renowned for his significant contributions to soil science, environmental research, and sustainable land management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Soil Science from Moscow Friendship University in 1979. With over 43 years of dedicated service at the National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Lebanon, Dr. Darwish held various positions, including Director of Research and Director of the Center for Remote Sensing.
