🌱🔬Lawrence Damnyag, a Ghanaian born on July 4, 1963, is a distinguished Principal Research Scientist with a Ph.D. in Forest Science-Forest Economics from the University of Eastern Finland (2012). He also holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Ghana (2000) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Statistics (1996).Currently based in Kumasi, Ghana, Lawrence serves as a Principal Scientist at the CSIR-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana and holds a Senior Lecturer position at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. With over 20 years of expertise, his research encompasses farm, forest, and environmental resource valuation, development of decision support tools for forest management, and collaboration with farming communities to promote low carbon initiatives, forest restoration.🌍🌾
